Counselling

I work one-on-one with people on a range of things, including mental health, conflict resolution, skills building, identity and self development. Learn more about what you can expect from a First Session with me.

My standard fee of $170 per 50min session. I offer rebates through the Better Access Medicare scheme, for which the rebate is $89.65 for up to 10 sessions per calendar year (+10 more for COVID extension). This means the gap for Standard rate is $80.35 a session. I dedicate a limited amount of my caseload to low-income clients, which I set at $110 (Gap = $20.35. Please mention this if you are seeking low-income counselling). I will also see clients under an Eating Disorder Plan, which can include up to 40 sessions in a calendar, with the same fees and rebates as above.

If you’re interested, please contact me.

Gender Affirming care, letters, forms

I work with trans, gender diverse, and gender questioning individuals on issues of transition, including medical and legal support. Though Equinox and others increasingly use the Informed Consent Model, many medical practitioners require a ‘WPATH Assessment’ where a professional writes a letter of recommendation for hormone replacement or gender affirming surgery. Here is my approach for clients seeking this kind of support, as my aim is to be transparent and honest. Generally the process takes approximately 4-6 sessions minimum to achieve the best client outcomes. There is no extra fee for writing the WPATH referral letter, above the session fees.

Secondary Consultation, LGBTQIA+

I provide limited secondary consultation and resourcing to health professionals and educators on LGBTQIA+ issues. I am also available to consult on questions of gender, sex, or sexuality with researchers, as I have expertise in survey design and data collection for these populations.

While I am more than happy to have a short call or email exchange free of charge, if you are interested in deeper understanding we can schedule a paid consultation for my standard fee of $170 an hour.
